Art Classes

Attention All Artists: Beginners, Dabblers & Experienced alike.

LAA welcomes everyone, from novices to the experienced artist. There are daytime classes from Monday through to Friday. We also have evening classes Monday to Thursday.
We regularly hold Sip and Paint or Sip and Pot sessions on Friday or Saturday evenings. We also schedule weekend workshops throughout the year.

Try your hand at something new; we cover all mediums from watercolour, pastel, acrylic, oil, ink, drawing, to mixed media. You can work at your own pace. The studio has a full kitchen, is bright and airy and provides enough room to seat 20+ practicing artists. (However with current Covid guidelines class sizes are limited to 10). We have a good supply of easels on hand for students’ use.

Tutored classes last 3 hours and cost $27.50 for non-members, $22 for members. Classes are pay-as-you-go. You supply your own materials, and our experienced and versatile tutors will guide you in your chosen medium.
